Das Biotechnologie-Unternehmen MediGene AG (Frankfurt, Prime Standard: MDG) steigt in den TecDAX auf, den Auswahlindex der Deutschen Börse für mittelgroße Technologie-Unternehmen. Der TecDAX schließt als Auswahlindex direkt unterhalb des Bluechip-Index DAX an und umfasst 30 Unternehmen, die im Börsensegment "Prime Standard" zugelassen sind. Zugangskriterien für den TecDAX sind neben der Erfüllung umfassender internationaler Transparenzanforderungen insbesondere eine überdurchschnittliche Marktkapitalisierung (Aktienkurs multipliziert mit Zahl der Unternehmensaktien) sowie ein hoher Börsenumsatz (Anzahl der täglich gehandelten Aktien). Nach Mitteilung der Deutschen Börse vom 5. Februar 2009 hat MediGene die Zugangskriterien für den TecDAX erfüllt und wird ab dem 09. Februar 2005 in diesem Index mdfbemn.
