Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert den LT3573, einen potenzialgetrennten monolithischen Flyback-Schaltregler mit integriertem 1,25A-NPN-Leistungsschalter. Der LT3573 vereinfacht das Design eines Flyback-Spannungswandlers ganz erheblich, weil er weder eine dritte Wicklung noch einen Optokoppler erfordert und die Ausgangsspannung anhand des primärseitigen Flyback-Signals bestimmt. Der LT3573 bietet einen Eingangsspannungsbereich von 3V bis 40V und eine maximale Ausgangsleistung von 7 Watt. Der Chip eignet sich für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen in der Industrie, Medizintechnik, Datenkommunikation und Automobilelektronik, die eine potenzialgetrennte Stromversorgung erfordern; typische Beispiele sind maritime Elektronik, Kleinleistungs-PoE und VoIP-Telefonschnittstelle.
