Linear Technology präsentiert die neuen Chips LT8410/-1; es handelt sich dabei um rauscharme Micropower-Aufwärtsregler mit integrierten Leistungsschaltern, Schottky- und Catch-Dioden sowie einer Ausgangstrennschaltung in einem nur 2mm x 2mm großen DFN-Gehäuse. Die Chips LT8410/-1 haben dank ihres einzigartigen Designs einen Ruhestrom von nur 8,5uA, der sich im Shutdown-Modus bis auf 0uA verringert. Durch die integrierten, hochohmigen (12,4M/0,4M) Regelkreisspannungsteilerwiderstände verringert sich der Ruhestrom im Leerlauf bei 16V Ausgangsspannung auf weniger als 30uA. Durch die sehr niedrigen Schaltstromgrenzwerte (25mA beim LT8410 bzw. 8mA beim LT8410- 1) arbeiten diese Wandler höchst effizient an hochohmigen Spannungsquellen wie z. B. Knopfzellen ohne Einschaltstrombegrenzung.
