KUKA und DLR vertiefen Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der Medizintechnik

Das deutsche Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) und die KUKA AG haben eine Vereinbarung mit dem Ziel der Vertiefung ihrer Zusammenarbeit unterzeichnet. Diese Zusammenarbeit konzentriert sich auf neue Technologien zur Deckung des wachsenden Bedarfs an Roboter unterstützter Chirurgie. Die am DLR entstehende Technologie soll dort bereits in wenigen Jahren eingesetzt werden. Das DLR ist aufgrund seiner führenden Rolle in der Forschung und Entwicklung von Robotertechnologien für KUKA ein wichtiger Technologiepartner.

Diese Zusammenarbeit ermöglicht es KUKA, weitere Roboterapplikationen in der Medizintechnik zu erschließen und die vorhandene Kompetenz im Medizinbereich in eine neue Technologie einzubringen.
