Nach Schweden, Norwegen und Dänemark konnte die IVU Traffic Technologies AG ein weiteres Mal in Skandinavien überzeugen: Die Finnische Staatsbahn (VR-Group) setzt bei der Abstellplanung am größten finnischen Bahnhof in Helsinki auf Softwarelösungen der IVU. Noch in diesem Jahr soll die Implementierung der Systeme bei der VR-Group abgeschlossen sein.

Mit 19 Gleisen, 310 Fernstreckenfahrten und rund 890 Pendlerfahrten am Tag ist Helsinki der wichtigste Schienenknotenpunkt des Landes. Täglich passieren mehr als zehntausend Pendler den Bahnhof auf ihrem Weg zur Arbeit oder ihrem Heimweg in die Vororte der Stadt. Jede Minute fahren Züge ein und aus. Kommt es dabei zu
