Die Konferenz think smart – secure communication for energy networks am 20. und 21. November 2012 in Düsseldorf ist die zweite Konferenz der isits AG, welche sich gemeinsam mit ESCRYPT GmbH der IT-Sicherheit in smart grids mit internationalem Fokus nähert.

Intelligente Energienetze (smart grids) sind die Voraussetzung für den Informationsaus­tausch zwischen Erzeugern zu Netzauslastung und Preisen. Basis für diese intelligenten Energienetze sind moderne ITK-Technologien. Netzstrukturen werden dadurch noch komplexer und Ausfälle, Überwachung oder Zusammenbrüche werden wahrscheinlicher. Gleichzeitig steigt die Variantenvielfalt von elektronischen Endgeräten für Privatnutzer oder Unternehmen, die Daten für smart grids liefern oder senden.
