Ingenico (Euronext: FR0000125346 ? ING), world leader in payment solutions, today announced that easycash, an Ingenico company and a leading German payment network provider, has crossed the mark of 1 billion payment transactions in 2010. This includes debit and credit card payments that were processed by its datacenters. This constitutes a new annual transactions record as early as October. Expecting to close 2010 with 1.3 billion payment transactions processed, the company is aiming for a new all?time high. In 2009, easycash closed the year just below 1 billion transactions. In 2009, a total of 52 billion € of sales was thus processed representing over one third of the card based retail sales in Germany. This amount will hit a new high in 2010.

easycash invested heavily in its IT datacenters in 2009, in order to prepare future proofness for its state of the art infrastructure and ensuring secure and fast payment transactions for its customers on the long term. The systems are laid out to be scaled to comply with the growing needs of the international payments market.
