Eine der größten und führenden Augenkliniken in Westeuropa, die Augenklinik Rotterdam (www.oogziekenhuis.nl), hat sich für die Einführung der Elektronischen Patientenakte (EPA) mit der ifa systems AG als IT Partner entschieden. Vorausgegangen war ein intensiver Auswahl- und Bewertungsprozess von mehr als 24 Monaten. Die Implementierung des ifa-Systems hatte sich aus OOG-internen Gründen verzögert und soll jetzt im ersten Quartal 2013 gestartet werden.

Das Projekt entspricht in seiner Größenordnung der bereits Anfang des Jahres gestarteten EPA-Einführung in der Universitätsaugenklinik von Oklahoma (DeanMcGee Eye Institute).
