Die HOCHTIEF-Tochtergesellschaft Flatiron hat als Teil eines Joint Ventures einen Auftrag mit einem Volumen von 1,23 Mrd. US-Dollar für den Bau eines mehr als 60 Meilen langen Abschnitts der neuen Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke zwischen Los Angeles und San Francisco erhalten. Bei diesem Projekt handelt es sich um die erste Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke in den USA.

"Das ist ein Beispiel für die deutlichen Investitionen in neue und verbesserte Transport-Infrastruktur in den Vereinigten Staaten und ein großer Schritt nach vorn für die HOCHTIEF Gruppe", sagte Vorstandsvorsitzender Marcelino Fernández Verdes.
