GEA hat die im November 2020 vertraglich vereinbarte Veräußerung der beiden Unternehmen Japy Tech SAS (vormals GEA Farm Technologies Japy SAS) und Royal De Boer Stalinrichtingen B.V. an die Mutares SE & Co. KGaA am 31. Dezember 2020 vollzogen. Das französische Unternehmen Japy Tech SAS produziert Milchkühltanks in Dijon. Royal De Boer Stalinrichtingen B.V. ist ein führender europäischer Anbieter für Stalltechnik mit Sitz in Leeuwarden in den Niederlanden. GEA wird weiterhin Zugang zum Produktportfolio der beiden veräußerten Unternehmen haben, um auch zukünftig individuelle Kundenbedürfnisse bedienen zu können. Die Unternehmen erzielten im Jahr 2019 einen Umsatz von zusammen rund 50 Mio.
