Fujitsu Siemens Computers kündigt Notebooks mit integriertem UMTS an

Fujitsu Siemens Computers hat heute angekündigt, im ersten Quartal 2006 Business-Notebooks der LIFEBOOK-Serie auf den Markt zu bringen, bei denen UMTS bereits integriert ist. Die Lösung vereinfacht nach Angaben des Unternehmens den mobilen Zugang zu Unternehmensanwendungen und zu zeitkritischen Informationen: Die bisher benötigten externen UMTS-Karten können entfallen; Roaming-Funktionen sorgen für einen nahtlosen Übergang beim Wechsel zwischen GPRS/UMTS- und Wireless LAN-Verbindungen.
