Zeppelin wird erstmals für Messflüge eingesetzt

Jülicher Forscher werden im Sommer 2007 erstmals einen Zeppelin NT als Messplattform nutzen, um die Verteilung von Spurengasen und Radikalen in den untersten Schichten der Atmosphäre zu untersuchen. Für die konstruktiven Veränderungen am Luftschiff hat das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung
(BMBF) letzte Woche die notwendigen Mittel bewilligt. Der Zeppelin NT eröffnet den Forschern den Zugang zu Regionen, in denen bislang keine komplexen atmosphärisch-chemischen Messungen durchgeführt werden konnten.

Jülicher Atmosphärenforscher werden im nächsten Sommer in Süddeutschland zwei Wochen lang Messungen zum Transport von Spurengasen in den untersten Schichten der Atmosphäre durchführen. „Ein speziell angepasstes Luftschiff, der Zeppelin NT, ermöglicht uns, erstmals
