Anwender erhalten dadurch interoperable Lösungen für flexible und leistungsstarke Disk-basierte Backup- und Restore-Prozesse.
FalconStors VTL vereint die Vorteile von Tape und Disk Backup, indem sie beliebige Datensicherungsumgebungen via Fibre-Channel, iSCSI oder NDMP als virtuelle Backup Volumes auf Festplattensystemen konsolidiert. Die Disks präsentieren sich den Backup Hosts dabei als flexibel verfügbare Tape Drives. Da die Preise für Festplatten je nach Format erheblich unter denen für Tapes liegen,
