Live Web-Streaming vom "Living Planet" Symposium der ESA in Bergen (NO)

Vor dem Hintergrund von berühmten Fjorden im "Land der Mitternachtssonne" treffen sich ab heute über 1200 Wissenschaftler aus aller Welt in Norwegen zum Thema "ESA Erd- und Umweltbeobachtung". Aktuelle Missionsergebnisse und zukünftige Planungen der Europäer in diesem Bereich werden im Detail analysiert und diskutiert. Das ESA Web Portal bietet ein Live-Webstreaming der Konferenz an.

Neben Präsentationen über die Beiträge der ESA-Satelliten ERS und Envisat zu einem besseren Verständnis unserer Umwelt und des Klimawandels auf der Erde während der letzten 15 Jahre, werden vor allem die ersten Ergebnisse der drei jüngsten ESA-Missionen - GOCE, SMOS und CryoSat - vorgestellt.
