On 3-7 September, meteorologists, scientists and researchers will meet in Sopot, Poland, for the 2012 EUMETSAT Meteorological Satellite Conference, Europe's leading annual specialised forum for scientific exchanges between meteorologists, oceanographers and environmentalists.
The conference is co-organised and hosted by the Polish Institute of Meteorology and Water Management-National Research Institute (IMGW-PIB).
The EUMETSAT Director-General, Alain Ratier, and the IMGW-PIB Director-General, Mieczyslaw S. Ostojski, will address the opening session on the first day of the conference.
