The Meetropolis präsentiert sich vom 9. bis 11. Oktober 2012 auf der IMEX America in Las Vegas, der US-amerikanischen Leitmesse für die Veranstaltungsbranche. Hiermit stellen die beiden rheinischen Metropolen Köln und Düsseldorf erstmalig gemeinsam ihr Angebot in einem Übersee-Markt vor. Mit dem Konzept "KÖLNDÜSSELDORF - The Meetropolis" bündeln die beiden Metropolen ihre Angebote und vermarkten sich insbesondere international gemeinsam als Kongressregion.
