Shock and strong vibrations seems to be a ubiquitous phenomenon during deep-drilling. Damage to the drill heads due to obstacles that are too hard is also a great danger. This often results in downtime that is cost and time intensive.

With the XP1109 - a new customized high pressure sensor design of our proven XP-Series - it is now possible to solve this problem.

The XP1109 is fixed to the front of the drill head and constantly measures the pressure. Thus, one can react immediately to an increasing pressure, which signals a danger to the drilling head.
