Die congatec AG, führender Hersteller von Embedded Computer Modulen, präsentiert Windows Embedded Compact 7 für das Qseven Modul conga-QMX6 basierend auf dem Freescale i.MX6 ARM Cortex A9 Prozessor. Windows® Embedded Compact 7 (WEC7) ist die neueste Generation in der Produktreihe von Windows® CE, dem Betriebssystem für innovative embedded Applikationen wie auf Qseven.

WEC7 bietet ein 32-Bit hart-echtzeitfähiges Betriebssystem mit Silverlight Unterstützung, eine anpassbare Bedienoberfläche, eine neue Version des Multimedia-Players, Internet Explorer mit Flash 10.1 und ein leistungsstarkes Entwicklungstool. Zudem stellt es angepasste Developer- und Designer-Werkzeuge für Programmierer bereit, XAML und C++ können verwendet werden.
