Mit dem Mira HP™ stellt Coherent, Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) (Nasdaq: COHR) den weltweit ersten fs-Oszillator mit mehr als 3 Watt mittlerer Leistung vor. Als Pumplaser dient der Coherent Verdi™ V18. In dieser Kombination ist es gelungen, die Leistung über den gesamten Abstimmbereich des Ti:Saphir Kristalls deutlich anzuheben. Dies gilt vor allem für die so kritischen Randbereiche um 700 nm sowie um 1.000 nm und darüber. Von diesem Leistungs-zuwachs können vor allem nichtlineare Systeme wie zum Beispiel der synchron gepumpte OPO mit einer mehr als linear gesteigerten Pulsenergie im infraroten und sichtbaren Spektralbereich profitieren.
