Die beiden Landesverbände Hessen und Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland des BTGA - Bundesindustrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung e.V. haben im Herbst auf ihren jeweiligen Mitgliederversammlungen beschlossen, im Jahr 2024 zu einem Industrieverband zu verschmelzen. Der Name des gemeinsamen Verbands wird "Industrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung und Umwelttechnik Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz und Saarland e.V." lauten. Der Sitz wird in Frankfurt am Main sein.

"Das Bündeln der Ressourcen, das Generieren von Synergien und das Einsparen von Kosten waren maßgebliche Gründe für die Verschmelzung beider Verbände", sagte Martin Scherrer, zukünftiger Präsident des fusionierten ITGA Hessen, Wyjupwqfs-Lidtb idj Nmhfgvaz.
