Gemeinsam mit VMware treibt Brocade Lösungen für das Zeitalter der "New IP" voran. Diese erleichtern Organisationen den Umstieg auf Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) sowie die Virtualisierung von Netzwerken. Die Brocade Ethernet und Fibre Channel Fabrics sind interoperabel mit VMware vRealize Operations 6.0 (ehemals VMware vCenter Operations Management Suite). Diese Interoperabilität bietet Unternehmen für ihre Rechenzentren mehr Leistung, Automatisierung, Zuverlässigkeit sowie Sicherheit für Applikationen und Daten.

Zudem nimmt VMware Teil an der "Brocade Network Subscription", das flexible Modelle für den Erwerb von Netzwerk-Lösungen bietet. Auch VMware Plattform Lösungen können nun auf Leihbasis mit dem flexiblen Pay-as-you-go-Modell erworben werden.
