Ende April fand die IT&Media Messe in Darmstadt statt. Die Fachmesse für digitale Unternehmen bot auch in diesem Jahr wieder Raum für Aussteller und Vorträge rund um das Thema "bessere Prozesse". Mit etwa 200 Ständen regionaler IT-Unternehmen erhielten die Besucher zahlreiche Informationen und Eindrücke rund um IT-Neuheiten. Neben einem Live-Hacking und einer Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema IT-Security, wurde auf der Messe auch der 1. IT&Media Anwender Award verliehen. 18 der anwesenden Aussteller haben sich im Vorfeld für den Award beworben. Fünf der Bewerber qualifizierten sich über ein Online-Voting für die Endausscheidung.
