Mit seiner neuesten Version 5.1 ist das jüngste E-Planungstool der Aucotec AG, Engineering Base (EB), fit für die Übernahme der Bestandsdaten aus den anderen Mitgliedern der Aucotec-Produktfamilie. Im Gegenzug lag ein Schwerpunkt bei der Weiterentwicklung von Elcad/Aucoplan und Ruplan darauf, sie auf die Übergabe ihrer Daten an EB zu trimmen. Damit läutet das Hannoversche Systemhaus die nächste Phase seines Weges in die Zukunft mit der datenbankbasierten und objektorientierten Plattform EB ein. Die Kunden könnten dabei jedoch völlig frei den Zeitpunkt für ihren Wechsel auf die nächste Engineering-Generation bestimmen, betont das Unternehmen.
