Etats-Unis : l'électricien américain XCEL Energy et AREVA prolongent un contrat de fourniture de combustible et de services jusqu'à 2029

Xcel Energy et AREVA ont prolongé un contrat pour la fourniture de combustible et de services à la centrale nucléaire de Monticello dans le Minnesota. Couvrant la période 2017-2029, ce contrat comprend la fourniture d'uranium naturel, de services de conversion et d'enrichissement, et la fabrication ainsi que la livraison d'assemblages de combustible.

Selon les termes du nouveau contrat, AREVA fournira deux recharges de combustible en plus des six prévues par le contrat précédent, signé en 2012.

Cette commande comprend également la livraison d'assemblages de combustible ATRIUMTM 10XM d'AREVA dédié aux réacteurs à eau bouillante (REB).
