ADAC: Richtiges Signal aus dem Umweltministerium / Automobilclub plädiert für Verschiebung auf 2012

Der ADAC begrüßt die Ankündigung von Bundesumweltminister Sigmar Gabriel, die geplante höhere Pflichtbeimischung von Ethanol im Benzin zu stoppen, wenn sie für zu viele Autofahrer mit negativen Konsequenzen verbunden wäre. "Angesichts der Tatsache, dass mehr als drei Millionen Fahrzeuge nicht für den Betrieb von E10 geeignet sind, kann es gar keine andere Entscheidung geben", so ADAC-Vizepräsident für Verkehr, Ulrich Klaus Becker. "Es wäre eine Zumutung für die betroffenen Autofahrer, wenn sie zur Vermeidung von Motorschäden von Super- oder Normalbenzin auf das bis zu 15 Cent teurere Super Plus umsteigen müssten."
