Die Sensation ist perfekt: Zeitgleich mit der Einführung von Autodesk Civil 3D liefert AKG Software mit VESTRA Civil 3D die erste Fachschale Verkehrswegeplanung / transportation planning aus. Möglich wurde dies durch die intensive Zusammenarbeit der Entwickler bei Autodesk und AKG und durch die Tatsache, dass die neuen, "intelligenten" CAD-Objekte von Autodesk Civil 3D (Klothoiden, Achsen, Gradienten) perfekt mit bewährten VESTRA-Trassierungselementen zusammenpassen. Alle Trassierungsobjekte werden im weltweiten CAD-Standard DWG abgelegt. VESTRA Civil 3D erlaubt es, mit Autodesk Civil 3D richtlinienkonforme Planungen zu erstellen. Es werden deutsche (FGSV) und US-amerikanische (AASHTO) Richtlinien unterstützt.
