Das neue ABB i-bus® KNX DALI-Gateway kann zur Ansteuerung von bis zu 64 DALI-Betriebsgeräten (z.B. EVGs, Transformatoren, LED-Konverter, usw.) verwendet werden. Die Adressierung der Betriebsgeräte erfolgt automatisch im Gateway oder wird mit Hilfe einer kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Software auf der DALI Seite durchgeführt. Hier erfolgt auch die Zuordnung zu einer oder mehreren der möglichen 16 Leuchtengruppen sowie eine grafische Zustandsdarstellung der angeschlossenen DALI Teilnehmer und der 16 Leuchtengruppen. So kann das Wartungspersonal ohne ETS Kenntnisse DALI Betriebsgeräte austauschen oder neu in Gruppen ordnen.

Die 16 Leuchtengruppen werden über KNX Telegramme angesteuert. Neben der direkten Ansteuerung sind bis zu
