Deutschland hat sich bei entscheidenden europäischen Projekten wie beispielsweise dem Green Deal zu oft auf die Hinterbank begeben, anstatt sich aktiv für die Interessen der deutschen Unternehmen und Verbraucher einzusetzen. Der ZVO fordert die kommende Bundesregierung daher auf, seine Verhandlungsposition auf europäischer Ebene proaktiv auszufüllen und sich verstärkt für die Interessen des deutschen Mittelstands und der Industrie einzusetzen.
