Am 26.02.2015 fand der 1. Life Science Management-Kongress in Heilbronn statt. Verschiedene Referenten aus Industrie und Forschung informierten über unternehmerische und strategische Aspekte, Herausforderungen und Chancen im Life Science Bereich.

Als Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Novalung GmbH und Vorstand der Xenios AG, konnte PD Dr. med. Georg Matheis einen Einblick in die fundamentalen Anforderungen eines Startups im Bereich der Medizintechnik gewähren. Erfolgreiche Startups zeichnen sich besonders durch eine klare Botschaft, einen relevanten Medical Need, ein Topteam, Tempo, Fokussierung und nicht zuletzt durch unkonventionelles Denken aus. Branchenspezifisch hervorzuheben sind auch Regulierungshürden vor der Zulassung und die Kostenerstattung, gerade für innovative Produkte und Dienstleistungen.
