WITTENSTEIN at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2008

Mechatronics specialist in Nuremberg from November 25 to 27, 2008 / Press conference and product premiere at our stand in Hall 4/251 at 5.15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26

(PresseBox) (Igersheim, )
WITTENSTEIN AG, a traditional exhibitor at SPS/IPC/DRIVES, will be returning to Nuremberg to participate in this year's fair from November 25 to 27. South-West Germany's specialist for intelligent servo drive technology will once again be represented by several business units of the WITTENSTEIN Group in Hall 4, Stand 251:

- WITTENSTEIN alpha GmbH
- WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH
- WITTENSTEIN cyber motor GmbH
- WITTENSTEIN electronics GmbH

To celebrate the forthcoming event, the joint stand shared by these four out of the total of seven WITTENSTEIN business units will stage the world premiere of the latest member of WITTENSTEIN motion control's TPM+ product family: the TPM+ power servo actuator - a motor-gearhead unit that combines a significantly shorter length with very high torque. The new TPM+ power hails from the same creative stable as its older brother "TPM+ dynamic", which has already successfully mastered more than 25,000 drive tasks. The result is a stunning new design: in addition to a surface that is less sensitive to dirt than ever before, its tremendously powerful build clearly emphasises the product's impressive features.

The new TPM+ power makes a perfect complement to the proven TPM+ dynamic, which accomplishes its predominantly rotary tasks in robotics and packaging systems with admirable efficiency. It is set to leave a deep mark not only in highly dynamic, linear applications such as rack-and-pinions or ball screws but also as a rotary actuator in automation and machining plants, where it is required to handle heavy masses and high disturbance forces.

Press conference and product premiere at our stand at 5.15 p.m. on November 26

Siegfried Wallauer, Product Manager at WITTENSTEIN motion control and as such responsible for mechatronic drive systems, will unveil the new TPM+ power to a general audience between 5.15 and 5.45 p.m. on the second day of the show (Wednesday November 26, 2008) at the WITTENSTEIN booth in Hall 4, Stand 251.
