Wind Rivers Worldwide Professional Services haben hinsichtlich Fähigkeitsgrad sowie Reifegrad Level 3 bei der Bewertung entsprechend Capability Maturity Model Integ-ration (CMMI) erreicht. Für die Bewertung wurden 17 Prozess-Kategorien zugrunde gelegt.

CMMI, Capability Maturity Model Integration, entwickelt vom Software Engineering Institute (SEI), ist ein Prozessmodell zur Bewertung und Verbesserung von Prozessen der Produktentwicklung in Organisationen. Die Prozesse von Wind Rivers Professional Services werden genau beobachtet und fortlaufend an die sich ändernden Bedürfnisse der Kunden angepasst. Die konsequente und zuverlässige Einhal-tung aller Prozesse stellt sicher, dass die Kunden ein hochwertiges Produkt erhalten und dass vereinbarte Zeitrahmen, Budgets und Funktionsrahmen eingehalten werden. Wind River erreichte in der Kategorie "Systems and Software Engineering" Level 3 für die Design-Zentren in San Diego (USA) und Ottawa (Kanada) sowie in Grenoble (Frankreich) und Ismaning.
