Erster Healthcare-Hackathon Sachsens findet vom 27. bis 29. April 2018 in Leipzig statt

Vom 27. bis 29. April 2018 findet in Leipzig der erste Hackathon für Innovationen im Gesundheitswesen in Sachsen statt. Internationale Teilnehmer aus den Bereichen Medizin, IT, Gesundheitswissenschaft und -wirtschaft werden drei Tage lang an neuen Lösungen für versorgungsorientierte Fragestellungen arbeiten. Die Ergebnisse werden im Rahmen eines Abschlussevents am 29. April vorgestellt, von einer Expertenjury bewertet und prämiert. Organisiert wird der Hackathon vom WIG2 Institut und der Healthcare Futurists GmbH. Veranstaltungsorte sind das BASISLAGER Coworking und die HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Leipzig.

Innovationen im Gesundheitswesen identifizieren, fördern und umsetzen – das ist die Zielstellung für den Leipzig.Innovate.Healthcare-Hackathon 2018. Nach erfolgreichen Events in München, Los Angeles, Brüssel und Köln kommt das Format Innovate.Healthcare (Healthcare Futurists) erstmals auch nach Sachsen.

Die Eröffnung des Hackathons sowie die Arbeitsphase für die Teams erfolgt ab 27. April 2018 um 18:00 Uhr im BASISLAGER Coworking in Leipzig. Das Abschlussevent mit den Pitches der Hackathon-Teams, Jury- und Publikums-Voting, Prämierung und Networking findet am 29. April 2018 ab 15:00 Uhr in der HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management statt.

Im Rahmen des dreitätigen Events stehen erneut „Challenges“ mit verschiedenen Ansätzen und Fragestellungen zur Auswahl, die von den ad hoc gebildeten Teilnehmerteams mithilfe verschiedener Coaches bearbeitet werden sollen. Darunter u.a.: „Ageing with robots“, „the medical concierge“, „reward system for a healthy lifestyle“ und „conncected health in coworking environments“. Zusätzlich können durch die Teilnehmer „Wildcard-Challenges“ eingebracht werden.

Sponsoren der Veranstaltung sind die IKK classic, Novartis, BASISLAGER Coworking und HHL SpinLab. Unterstützt werden wir u.a. durch die Stadt Leipzig, die Wirtschafsförderung Sachsen, HHL und Statista.
