"Teaching the Web"

Internationales Eröffnungsevent des W3C deutsch-österr. Büro am neuen Standort in Potsdam

Was muss "meine Community" über das Web wissen? Ist Wissen über die Architektur des Web so wichtig wie Wissen über XML und Technologien des Semantic Web, oder können wir erwarten, dass früher oder später alle Details hinter schönen Benutzerinterfaces verborgen werden? Das Eröffnungsevent des deutsch-österr. W3C Büros an seinem neuen Standort, der Fachhochschule Potsdam, wird Personen zusammenbringen, die sich normalerweise nicht treffen: Entwickler von Webtechnologie und "Benutzer" aus einer ganzen Reihe von Communities. Der Zweck ist Ziele der Ausbildung über das Web zu diskutieren, und wie man sicherstellt, dass das Web dort nachhaltig einen Platz finden wird wo es am wichtigsten ist - in unseren Köpfen und Herzen.

Das Event findet am 15. Oktober, ab 10.00 Uhr im Hauptgebäude der Fachhochschule Potsdam, Campus Pappelallee statt und umfasst Vorträge sowohl in englischer als auch in deutscher Sprache. Zusammenfassungen werden in beiden Sprachen gegeben.
