TÜV zertifiziert den VTL-Network Carbon Footprint

Kein Greenwashing - sondern Ökonomie, soziale Nachhaltigkeit und Ökologie

Als erstes Stückgutsystem präsentierte die VTL Vernetzte-Transport-Logistik GmbH auf der diesjährigen transport logistic ihren TÜV-zertifizierten Network Carbon Footprint, kurz NCF. Am Stand der Hochschule Heilbronn und des Logistiknetzwerkes Baden-Württemberg überreichte Hans-Hermann Üffing, Geschäftsführer TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, die Zertifizierungsurkunde DIN EN ISO 14064:2006 an Andreas Jäschke, den VTL-Geschäftsführer.

Damit tritt VTL den Beweis an, dass Grüne Logistik schon lange kein Marketing- oder PR-Gag mehr ist, sondern den wirtschaftlichen Unternehmenserfolg sichert und gleichzeitig die Verantwortung für den Erhalt der Umwelt ernst nimmt.

Gemeinsam mit dem Institut für Nachhaltigkeit in Verkehr und Logistik (INVL) an der Hochschule Heilbronn hat VTL seinen NCF innerhalb von 9 Monaten ermittelt. Dazu wurde 2010 der Arbeitskreis "Grüne Logistik" gegründet, welcher die Erhebungsme­thode sowie die Instrumente entwickelt und getestet hat, bevor diese an alle VTL-Depots verteilt wurden. Die Teilnehmer dieses Arbeitskreises sind die Referenzpartner: Gericke & Co. GmbH, Hintzen Logistik GmbH, Spedition Hoss GmbH & Co. KG, Jos. Rux Spedition GmbH & Co. KG, Kontinent Spedition GmbH, Kraftverkehr Emsland GmbH, Loxx Logistik & Spedition GmbH, Ludwig Häberle Logistik GmbH und die Richard Müller GmbH & Co. KG.
