Smart innovations for complex industrial processes

In line with Germanys Industry 4.0 and international industrial trends, the 34th VM Forum featuring Value Management and Belden Automation will deep dive opportunities in automation and digitization - Defining Smart Factory, Smart Grid and Metaverse

(PresseBox) (Frankfurt am Main, )
Individual industrial sectors’ challenges may differ, but there is one commonality on all agendas. Across all industries, the technological and organisational future will be driven by automation. The 34th VM Forum on January 19, 2023, will showcase innovative solutions and optimized applications for Industry 4.0. The host partners, Belden and Value Management, will bring participants closer to both the technological foundation and strategic guidelines for smart, future-proof operations.

Nicknamed the "Gold-Mine Smart Factory" event, the 34th Value Management Forum at the Schlosshotel Kronberg near Frankfurt will reveal the opportunities generated by digitized and automated industrial processes. As a global technology and engineering leader, Belden will introduce innovative solutions for optimized infrastructure and connectivity. Underpinned by the broader competences of Value Management, participants will be party to valuable new perspectives on how IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operations Technology) can be successfully implemented and harnessed to deliver sustainable value-enhancing corporate management.

The Smart Factory

The 34th VM Forum will bring together unique technological know-how and proven consulting competence in strategy, operations and the economics, creating a vibrant platform for the effective exchange of ideas. The "Smart Factory" programme is a cooperation project between Belden and Value Management, which draws on the partners’ unique synergies to explore and deliver answers to core questions around digital change, IT, OT and IIoT (industrial internet of things). Smart Factory is a disrupting trend for the manufacturing industry and their value chain with key interfaces to Smart Grids in energy distribution. First industrials are using the term of Metaverse instead of Smart Factory.

Specialist management consultancy firm Value Management and global technology experts Belden deliver extensive experience in sectors such as automotive, energy and mechanical engineering. Forum speakers and moderators are established knowledge leaders from both companies, offering new insight and understanding regarding the challenges and specific questions facing their audience. Following insights from Prof. Dr. Jochen Vogel and Prof. Dr. Rudolf Jerrentrup (Value Management) and Patrick Deruytter (Belden), participants and speakers will engage in a lively free discussion session.

Inside the Smart Factory and the Smart Manufacturer

Entrepreneurs and leaders across industry know that digital change and the Internet of Things are their next major tasks. But what exactly is the Smart Factory in its individual facets? How is it possible to combine these facets into a holistic performance?  How to transform digitised and automated operations into the “gold mine”? These and many other questions will be in focus and examined in detail by experts and guests at the Executive Dinner in the Schlosshotel Kronberg.

Patrick Deruytter (Vice President, Belden Automation Solutions Delivery EMEA) will give the participants insights into the technological details of digitization and automation - the basis of every smart, sustainable industrial company.

Prof. Dr. Jochen Vogel (CEO, VM Value Management GmbH) and Prof. Dr. Rudolf Jerrentrup (Senior Advisor, VM Value Management GmbH / Dean of Engineering, FOM Hochschule) will envisage exciting new perspectives on increasing efficiency and sustainable optimization.
