In an interactive experience, visitors will see this end-to-end packaging workflow in action, following a packaged product as it moves through key stages of the packaging lifecycle. The experience illustrates how packaging data flows from digital design into production and is carried through the operation using connected packaging processes.
Within this integrated environment, Videojet will showcase how its coding, marking, labelling and software solutions operate on the production line across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging. Live demonstrations will highlight the accurate and consistent application of variable data, including dates, lot and batch codes, and 2D codes, across a range of packaging materials, supporting traceability, compliance and efficient packaging operations.
“Packaging manufacturers continue to face increasing demands as designs and substrates change more frequently, while expectations around sustainability and traceability continue to grow,” said Amelie Wulff, vice president, EMEA commercial, at Videojet. “At Interpack, we are demonstrating how Videojet solutions support connected packaging operations by reliably applying and managing production data on the line, helping manufacturers maintain consistency and confidence across materials and packaging levels.”
Coding and marking solutions from pack to pallet
In addition to previewing a new package labeler and fibre laser, Videojet will present a full line of coding and marking solutions. These will include continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers for high-speed, non-contact coding on products and pouches, as well as laser marking systems applying permanent, high‑quality codes without inks or fluids across a variety of materials. Laser systems equipped with Videojet Smart Focus™ technology will automatically adjust focal distance, eliminating manual focus adjustments and improving marking quality across different product sizes and substrates. High-resolution thermal inkjet (TIJ) and thermal transfer overprinting (TTO) solutions will also be demonstrated on cartons and flexible packaging, along with end-of-line printing and labelling solutions for cases and pallets.
Videojet software will complement the hardware demonstrations by supporting the standardisation of coding operations across packaging levels, using rules-based controls to help reduce manual entry errors, support GS1-compliant barcodes, and maintain accuracy as production requirements change.
