Als Fortsetzung zu dem im Zweiten Weltkrieg angesiedelten Luftkampf-Spiel Heroes of the Pacific setzt Heroes Over Europe die beeindruckende Reihe fort und bietet intensive Dogfights, eine realistische und sehr detailreiche Präsentation sowie noch mehr Online-Funktionen.
Entwickelt von Transmission Games in Melbourne, Australien, und unterstützt durch eine völlig neue Engine wird Heroes Over Europe die Messlatte für alle kommenden Luftkampf-Spiele höher legen. Dafür verantwortlich ist die komplett neue "Ace Kill" Nahkampf Action, vier Online-Modi mit bis zu 16 Spielern sowie komplett individualisierbare Flugzeuge und ein partielles Schadensmodell.
