Amsterdam, 13.09.2013 – TV1.EU will present SHIFT.TV, the only legal online TV-recorder in Germany for the first time at IBC, in Hall 1, booth 1.A80 from the 13th – 17th of September.
The cloud-based recorder enables its customers to have a single show or recurring events within the German television program recorded and downloaded as well as retrieved as stream at any time. SHIFT.TV is a webbased service delivered by TV1.EU`s content delivery network and can be used from any PC, notebook, hybrid TV or iPhone/iPad App and soon smart TVs.
Next to its Cloud-Recording service, TV1.EU will also show additional streaming and transcoding services. The main focus: to enable TV-stations and content-provider to deliver their material to a growingly fragmented target group and to prepare for a rising video-demand.
As recent surveys proove, this development is still picking up speed: Mobile usage is at an all-time high and user profiles will be getting even more diverse and therefore harder to reach – turning away from a classic TV- to a multi-device, multi-mobile media consumption. In this environment, TV1.EU is giving its clients the right tailor-made solutions.
