The migration succeeded in next to no time. "Thanks to the professional consultancy from tts we were able to complete the project in just three months and stayed well within the anticipated budget," reported Jessica Hufnagel, who is in charge of personnel development at Chemetall. In this short timeframe and with a manpower resource effort of just three employees the chemicals company could move all courses, seminars and workshops into the system.
Since all employees have their own personal profile, the system is able to assign the relevant training courses automatically. Managers can, for example, access their departments' digital learning histories with a mouse click. With 3,000 training attendances per year (of which 2,000 concern legally prescribed mandatory training) this leads on the one hand to greater transparency, and on the other hand simplifies archiving, as some proofs of participation and certificates must be retained on file for 30 years.
With the new LMS Chemetall has implemented a highly employee-oriented education process. An additional benefit is that the company not only saves on manpower and material, but also storage space.
