The Imaging Source, internationaler Hersteller von Kameras für die industrielle Bildverarbeitung stellt ab sofort Open Source Linux Support für alle angebotenen Kameras zur Verfügung.

Der Source Code - veröffentlicht unter Apache License 2.0 - steht als Open Source Projekt zur Verfügung und kann mit gängigen Distributionen wie Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS und Red Hat verwendet werden. Unterstützt werden sämtliche The Imaging Source Industriekameras mit GigE-, USB- und FireWire- Interface.

Rolf Bollhorst, Geschäftsführer und Gründer von The Imaging Source berichtet:
