Verpackung von Tetra Pak erhält WorldStar Award in Gold in der Kategorie Nachhaltigkeit

Tetra Pak erzielte am 19. Mai einen weiteren Erfolg bei den WorldStar Awards in Mailand: Die Tetra Prisma® Aseptic 1000 ml-Verpackung mit bio-basiertem Kunststoff, die erstmals bei den Säften von Del Valle Reserva von Coca-Cola zum Einsatz kam, wurde in der Kategorie "Nachhaltigkeit" mit dem WorldStar Award in Gold ausgezeichnet.

Die Verpackung hatte zuvor bereits - wie die Tetra Top mit abtrennbarem Oberteil - WorldStar Awards in der Kategorie "Getränke" erhalten.

In der Tetra Prisma Aseptic 1000 ml-Verpackung mit bio-basiertem Kunststoff kommt Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (LDPE) aus Zuckerrohr für die Beschichtung des Verpackungsmaterials zum Einsatz. Zusammen mit dem FSC®-zertifizierten Karton wird der Anteil erneuerbarer Materialien an der Verpackung damit auf etwa 78 Prozent erhöht. Außerdem ist die Verpackung recycelbar.
