The Tentamus Group is pleased to announce that David Biacsi-Schoen will join the company effective March 1, 2026, assuming the dual roles of Head of Group IT and Director IT DACH.

In his role as Director IT DACH, David will lead the prioritisation and delivery of regional IT initiatives across the DACH organization, ensuring close alignment with business objectives and the Group’s overall IT strategy.

Following the decision of Mark Phillips, CIO & CTO of Tentamus Group, to step down from his position, David will also take on the role of Head of Group IT. In this capacity, he will oversee central and cross-regional IT platforms and services while establishing and maintaining global IT policies, governance structures, and controls across the organization.

David Biacsi-Schoen brings extensive international experience spanning IT operations, infrastructure, application support, and information security. He has held senior IT leadership roles within the medical devices and TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industries, combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. Earlier in his career, David led complex multi-million-dollar IT programs, including the delivery of IT systems for newbuild cruise ships and the management of fleet-wide IT operations. His professional background reflects a consistent focus on scalability, operational reliability, and business enablement.

David holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology and is completing the Executive MBA program of Mannheim Business School and ESSEC Business School, including academic residency at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. His executive education further strengthens his expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational management.

“David’s extensive experience in laboratory IT and healthcare technology, combined with his hands-on approach, international savviness and deeply rooted people orientation make him a strong addition to our team,” said Dr. Christian Rebhan. “We are confident that his leadership will strengthen our digital capabilities and ensure consistent standards across the organization.”

David Biacsi-Schoen commented:

“I am excited to join Tentamus Group and contribute to its next phase of digital evolution. I look forward to supporting our regional IT organizations and laboratories while ensuring that our global platforms, governance, and policies drive efficiency, scalability, innovation, and alignment across the Group.”

The Tentamus Group warmly welcomes David Biacsi-Schoen and looks forward to achieving great successes together.

The Group also wholeheartedly thanks Mark Phillips for his leadership, commitment, and contributions, and wishes him continued success for his journey ahead.
