Tentamus Pharma & Med Deutschland (TPMD), founded in September 2021, is pleased to inform you that it has been successfully inspected by the local authorities at all three laboratory sites so that no break in the GMP testing service occurred. TPMD is a result of the merger of the three analytical companies BLS-Analytik GmbH (Columbiastraße 14, 97688 Bad Kissingen), TentaMedix GmbH (Am Hubengut 3, 76149 Karlsruhe), and DSIpharm (Würzburger Straße 3, 26121 Oldenburg).
Although the re-auditing by the authorities involves a lot of effort, Dr. Asche and Dr. Herzog, both managing directors of TPMD, are satisfied. Dr. Asche is convinced that "the great work of our employees have made the smooth transition to the new company possible". Dr Herzog adds: "We are happy to be able to offer a one-stop service to our clients now".
At our Bad Kissingen site the GMP certification now additionally includes a manufacturing authorization (“Herstellungserlaubnis”) for veterinary medicinal products. The analytical focus lies in physico-chemical testing, chromatography, elemental analysis, and stability studies. The testing portfolio at the Karlsruhe site has been expanded for capillary electrophoresis (Ph. Eur. 2.2.47) fitting well to the Micro-/Molecular biological and bioanalytical scope of testing. In Oldenburg TPMD has a “Herstellungserlaubnis” acc. to §13 German Medical Law combined with a longstanding high expertise in method development and stability studies for chromatographic and physico-chemical methods.
