Symantec und Juniper geben strategische Partnerschaft bekannt

Entwicklung integrierter Sicherheitslösungen für Unternehmen

Symantec und Juniper Networks haben eine strategische Partnerschaft vereinbart, welche die Entwicklung integrierter Sicherheits­lösungen für Unternehmen zum Ziel hat. Im Vordergrund der Kooperation steht die Entwicklung neuer Lösungen in den Bereichen Unified Threat Management (UTM) und Intrusion Protection-Systeme (IPS). Zudem einigten sich die Unterneh­men darauf, bei Forschung und Entwicklung sowie Vertrieb und Marketing dieser Produkte zusammen zu arbeiten. Im ersten Schritt werden Entwicklerteams von Symantec und Juniper Networks die bestehenden Juniper-Produkte in den Bereichen Unified Threat Management (UTM) und Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) gemeinsam weiterentwickeln. Die integrierten Sicherheitsplattformen von Juniper werden dabei Software-Lösungen von Symantec nutzen.

Juniper und Symantec planen zudem, ihre bestehenden Lösungen für die Netzwerkzugangskontrolle und im Bereich Endpoint Compliance (Richtlinienkonformität von Endgeräten) gemeinsam zu optimieren.
