STÖBICH combines comprehensive fire protection expertise with innovative strength

Hall 7, Stand 7D2

(PresseBox) (Goslar, )
Hall 7, Stand 7D2 / As the inventor of the first conveyor system closure for continuous conveyor technology, STÖBICH has long been a household name in the industry. At this year's LogiMAT from March 24–26, 2026, in Stuttgart, the Goslar-based family business will once again demonstrate how structural and technical fire protection can work cleverly with battery safety solutions. At booth 7D21 in hall 7, visitors can experience the innovative fire protection products live and receive advice on individual applications.

Passion for Details: The motto of LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart is also the claim of STÖBICH, the global market leader in preventive structural fire protection. With precision down to the smallest detail and decades of expertise, STÖBICH's headquarters in Goslar develops customized and series solutions in the field of structural fire protection, made in Germany. In addition to innovative textile smoke and fire protection closures, these include various conveyor system closures for continuous conveyor technology. STÖBICH is a true pioneer in this field, ever since company founder Dr. Jochen Stöbich developed the first fire and smoke protection system for conveyor systems in 1980. These so-called conveyor system closures (CSC) automatically close the openings in fire walls or ceilings through which rail-bound conveyor systems pass in the event of a fire. In this way, they prevent the uncontrolled spread of fire to adjacent areas of the building and ensure an uninterrupted conveyor process and thus also continuous operation. Whether as a slide gate, flap construction, swing door, or sectional door: STÖBICH offers a suitable sealing solution for almost every installation situation and conveyor technology variant. You can see exactly how this works on YouTube.

An exciting highlight at the STÖBICH booth is definitely the discharge model: it illustrates how technical fire protection and the safe discharge of critical lithium-ion batteries interact intelligently in intralogistics. Specifically, the Fire Multi Detector for early fire detection is used in conjunction with the ECClos®-S (fire resistance class EI₁ 120; variable fixed fields for easy implementation of customer-specific solutions) and GCC (fire resistance class EI₁ 90; currently the most affordable CSC in the STÖBICH portfolio) conveyor system closures. The simulated critical conveyor goods, lithium-ion batteries, are transported in the StrainBox in accordance with ADR. A sophisticated combination of gas filter system, thermal management, pressure-resistant construction, and sturdy locking prevents the escape of toxic liquids, solids, and flames in the event of an accident.

The STÖBICH fire protection experts will not only be on hand to provide individual advice to LogiMAT visitors, but will also give them a first-hand experience of how structural and technical fire protection can be combined with battery safety. STÖBICH also aims to become the market leader in these sectors and is exhibiting a selection of innovative solutions for early fire detection and for the safe storage and transport of lithium-ion batteries, e.g. the StrainBox XS and the StrainLock storage cabinet. As always, there will be plenty to see at the STÖBICH stand 7D21 in Hall 7.
