Office Phones go mobile

Speech Design presents expanded Fixed-Mobile-Convergence (FMC portfolio at CeBIT 2007

(PresseBox) (Germering, )
Fix Mobile Convergence (FMC) ist one of the major current developments in telecommunications globally. “Modern enterprises expect solutions enabling employees to work efficiently anytime / anywhere: it shouldn’t make a difference whether phone contacts with customers are handled from the corporate headquarters, on an employee’s mobile phone or in the home office” says says Renaud Munier, VP Sales and Marketing of Speech Design, the European market leader in Enterprise FMC.

Enterprise FMC allows a company to use a single phone number, the wireline office number, for all business contacts. Employees are reachable wherever they happen to be and can even access convenient functions of the office PBX on their mobile phones. Outgoing mobile calls are routed through the office PBX, presenting the employee’s office number (rather than the mobile number) to the called party. Perfect customer service, efficient separation of business and personal communications and improved cost control are the crucial benefits of Enterprise FMC, both for a large corporation and a small / medium size business.
Speech Design’s Mobile Pro is a market-leading Enterprise FMC solution, with more than 500 installations at companies of all sizes.

At CeBIT 2007, Speech Design presents its expanded mobility portfolio: new Mobile Pro models for large and small enterprises, new advanced features such as (mobile) call logging and individual phone “conference rooms” for all users.

Market-leading Smartphones from RIM (BlackBerry) and Nokia are now tightly integrated with Mobile Pro, transforming the mobile devices into full-featured “PBX extensions”. To support further Smartphone development, Speech Design has joined both companies’ advanced partner programs.

In order to further strengthen its market position, Speech Design has launched a Reseller Partner Program , designed to assist international distributors and dealers in building a successful Enterprise FMC business. Speech Design exhibits in the Reseller area of CeBIT 2007 (Hall 25, booth D104).
