Softing Industrial has integrated extended support for Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) into its versions V3.80 of the OPC UA .NET Standard SDK and V6.70 of the OPC UA C++ SDK. This underlines the company's long-term commitment to greater cybersecurity in industrial communication systems.

Focus on Advanced Encryption Technologies

Softing has designed the new SDK versions to meet the highest security standards. A key feature is comprehensive support for ECC, one of the most secure and efficient encryption methods available. The new versions cover the following ECC curves:
  • NIST P256
  • NIST P384
  • Brainpool P256r1
  • Brainpool P384r1
