The business magazine and the statistics portal thereby honored the performance of SLM Solutions Group AG, which introduces the beneficial use of 3D printing technology in many industries with machines and services of metal-based additive manufacturing. With its metal-based “selective laser melting” process, the company’s machines are used in the automotive and aerospace industries, energy industry, toolmaking and the healthcare system to “print” entire workpieces as well as complex machine parts and components.
