The new member of the AOZ900x family, AOZ9006DIL, offers the lowest available source to source resistance solution (typ. 40mOhm) for Li Ion battery protection on the market.
This battery protection IC has integrated dual common-drain N-channel MOSFET. It includes high-accuracy voltage detectors and delay circuits without the need of external capacitors, making it suitable for protecting single-cell lithium-ion / lithium-polymer rechargeable battery packs from overcharge, over-discharge, and over-current conditions.
The charger connection pin withstands up to 28V and the low current consumption of typical 3.0µA in operation mode makes this an attractive device for customers who build their own lithium battery packs.
Available at setron the AOZ9006DIL is packaged in a small 2mm x 5mm 6-pin DFN and is rated over a wide -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature range.
