Semantec GmbH, der etablierte Software Anbieter aus Baden-Württemberg, verstärkte sein Engagement im öffentlichen Bereich und trat zum ersten Mal auf Deutschlands wichtigster Kommunikationsplattform für Kommunen und öffentliche Verwaltungen, der KomCom Nord (www.komcom.de) vom 21. bis 23. Februar 2006 im Hannover Congress Centrum auf.

Die Firma war auf dem Oracle Partnerstand vertreten und komplettiert das Oracle Community Angebot mit modernen Lösungen zum Thema organisationsweite Informationsbeschaffung. Live-Demonstrationen des jüngsten Releases der Semantec Volltext-Suchmaschine DirectInfo, Aufzeigen der Vorteile und des ROI, Einsatzpotentiale sowie Success Stories bildeten einen hohen Anreiz für Entscheidungsträger aus dem öffentlichen Bereich und potentielle IT-Partner. Während der dreitätigen Fachmesse wurden mehrere hochkarätige Leads gewonnen und 5 Teststellungen vereinbart. Erfolg versprechend und bereits in ersten Besprechungen ist auch die Anfrage eines großen IT-Anbieters für ein Partnerprojekt im Kommunalbereich.
